SYRIA, Chalcidice. Chalcis. Hadrian, 117-138. Triassarion (Bronze, 24 mm, 13.72 g, 6 h). [ΑΥΤΟΚΡ ΚΑΙϹ ΤΡΑΙΑ]ΝΟϹ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ Laureate bust of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. [ΦΛ ΧΑΛΚ]ΙΔЄⲰΝ ΘЄOC [...] / Δ Helioseiros standing front, head to left, holding palm branch in his right hand and shield and spear in his left. Butcher -, cf. p. 437, 17 (differing reverse legend). RPC III online 3474.3 (this coin). Apparently unique. The obverse struck slightly off center. Good fine.
